As a Digital News Intern at Ecuavisa, one of the biggest television/communication networks in Ecuador,  I had the opportunity to develop my news writing and social reporting skills. I also witnessed and participated in the coverage of national elections. My responsibilities included news writing, corporate communications, digital campaign management to attract young voters, and more.

I also managed to interview one of the presidential candidates who was assassinated only a week after working with him. This experience has greatly marked my professional career, teaching me the urgency and importance of resolving journalistic crises effectively, while also considering the reputational image of a medium in the face of such an event.
