European Week Abroad
University of Navarra’s European Week Abroad took part in Brussels, Belgium. During this fruitful visit, I fully immersed myself in the different external and internal communication processes used by the European Union. Amongst all of the executive and legislative bodies of the EU, we visited the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Committee of Regions, the Permanent Representation of Spain before the EU, Navarra’s Permanent Representation office in Brussels, and more.
We also met with some news agencies and media platforms like EFE and Politico, providing a clear vision regarding different challenges that communication professionals deal with on a daily basis.

POLITICO
There is no denying POLITICO’s success as a political media outlet in Europe. During our visit, we could attribute such ascendancy to the platform’s niche audience. By maintaining a separate relationship between its editorial house and business department, POLITICO has found the perfect formula in order to survive in such a competitive and unpredictable field.

EFE News Agency
As a journalism major, visiting the EFE News Agency was a highlight of my student trajectory. Being one of the biggest sources of information worldwide, EFE is a testament to why journalists are still needed as the first line of defense against disinformation.
